This boy is one of a kind! He is sweet, attentive, hard working and enjoyable. He loves people and attention and will meet you at the gate every time. His Sire was Navajo’s Candy and he should have been Registered, but life happens sometimes and it did for his owners.

He currently stands 15 hands high and is still growing, I would say he’ll easily be 15.2hh or more here soon. His sire was 17hh and his dam was 15hh. He is 5yrs old, has good teeth, eyes, legs, hooves, and a great personality to boot! I have ridden him on the highway, in the gutter, across country, dirt roads, ditches, forests, cattle, and so much more and he has always been a good sport. He loves to learn and pretty easily taught which broadens his potential horizons immensely. He could go right into showing, driving, trail riding, mountain riding and or ranching with nearly no issues.

He has been hired out to a ranch for 2 months, rounding cattle and penning and took to it very well. He has had ropes thrown around him, balls bounced off of him, whips switched at all sides, tarps and tires drug behind and never has he acted horrified by it or offered to kick or bite. He is not at all easily panicked or scared and cars, dogs, goats, semis, trucks, cats, other horses, kids and cows don’t hardly phase him. I have ridden him bareback and saddled and his ONLY issue currently is not wanting you on bareback at a gallop. He’ll walk, trot and slowly canter with you on board without problems, but he is not

“fully used” to it yet and will give you a little crow hopping if you reach a gallop that way.

As I said, he is still young and has so much more to learn, but he has the essential basics and now he is ready for a defined direction to work towards. He has been started on neck reining and is fairly smooth, but tends to be on the lazy side about it, which would absolutely be resolved with a little extra practice. He takes just about any bit and can turn on a dime in a simple snaffle. I ride him in a halter most of the time and it is always a pleasure.

He has some minor bruising in the lower 1/3rd of his back hooves from this last, wet spring, but he has almost outgrown them and rides the same as ever, no issues, with a pair of regular shoes. Shoeing him will be necessary for only 2 or 3 more months and then you’ll be able to go anywhere on him without them, he just needs to finish growing them out.

He is located in Marshfield Missouri and will leave with a Current Coggins and Health Certificate.

Please don’t hesitate to call me with any questions you have concerning him, I have rarely ever owned or loved a horse like him and there is nothing I wouldn’t do for this boy! I can definitely get more photos upon request, my phone died on me in the middle of taking those photos so I posted whatever I had. Lol
